Transcendence Natural Hair Show 2010 is long overdue!
New York City has been pivotal in natural hair evolution from its inception. Now it is time for us to step out and take our place amongst the stars. We have pulled together several of the very best in the natural hair industry Janice M. Brown - Tarbaby, Thando Kafele - LocStylist.com, Orin Saunders - Locs ‘N Chops, Derrick Scurry - DerrickScurryHair.com, Skilz, Sol and more... and we anticipate many more will join.
The driving force for this initiative is not only to bring to fruition a NYC based Natural Hair show, but the need to form a mass collaborative of like minded Natural Hair stylist whom believe in quality and exceptional service. This event will serve to mark an annual NYC Natural Hair show of the very best selected stylist. We will work as an industry to fill a need and a void, while addressing Natural Hair care ignorance, by promoting the ongoing progression of standardization, education, entrepreneurship, national professional accreditation, financial resource availability, and a better understanding of the raw resources that are out there...

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 23, 2010 - Doors Open @ 9 am - 7 pm (FREE) We will start off with a festival style, multi-vendor layout with something for everyone to enjoy. And as if that were not enough, we will be bringing in the very best in food to satisfy all your little taste buds, with a variety of smooth and refreshing options to wash it down.
On that very same day we will pick 7 people (who have purchased tickets) for a free natural hair style with one of our stylist. Additionally, there will be workshops available in a various areas of interest dealing with natural hair care and more. Plus, barbers will be on the scene to offer haircuts and so much more.
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 24, 2010 – October 24th, 2010 - Doors Open @ 9 am - 7 pm Like the first day we will host another great day of vendors, food, activities, workshops, plus acknowledgment ceremonies and more, then we will bring you the main event: (FOR TICKET HOLDERS ONLY) 3:30 pm - TRANSCENDENCE NATURAL HAIR SHOW 2010. With seating for 800+, our production is guaranteed to be the best 2 hours of high energy, transcendent hair styles of its kind, anywhere. We are sparing no expense to bring you the latest the natural hairstyling industry has to offer and a production team to match...
